Jonathan Stephens

Jonathan Andrew de Sievrac Stephens[1] is a British civil servant, currently serving as the Permanent Secretary of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

He served as Managing Director of Public Services at HM Treasury from 2004, replacing Sir Nicholas Macpherson[2] when he transferred to become Managing Director of Budget and Public Finances. In 2006, he was appointed Permanent Secretary of DCMS to replace Dame Sue Street on her retirement.[3]
